Well looks like Hezbollah has won this war(in propoganda terms atleast). Israel does seem to have some assets(hez prisoners) to trade. However, I think they have squandered the opportunity they were initially presented with.
Anyway, this ceasefire looks like it lays the firm footing for a bigger war. Contrary to the agreement where hez would lay down their arms, Syria and Iran have resumed rearming Hez. Looks like Israel has not gained much.
An interesting parallel has been drawn between this ceasefire and the Munich accord made between Chamberlain and Hitler

I'm guessing we will see multiple mushroom clouds in that region soon. I'm guessing no one will want to live in the middle east after that...let alone fight over the land.
