NOTE: some of the images are graphic and dusturbing.

p.s: for someone doing a lot of 'rescuing' in rubble he seem to be remarkably free of dust. Even the black part of his clothing is seemingly unaffected. He must be a man of multiple abilities indeed. :p .

Are'nt the wars of today supposed to be fought on "all" fronts ?
After a couple of weeks of relentless bombing, who's winning ? (I recommend stepping onto the streets of the Middle-East to get a better perspective than relying solely on google)
I am not too sure about the military aspect of the whole thing, but your post certainly makes a strong case for the victory of the Hez... on the propaganda front of the war.
Again, can it be attributed to another "intelligence failure" ?
I wonder...... http://analysis.threatswatch.org/2006/07/the-hizballah-surprise/" target="_blank">http://analysis.threatswatch.org/2006/07/the-hizballah-surprise/</a>

On the other hand, regardless of the victory/wrongs of any side, the bottomline remains- civilians, women n children killed (unless you can enlighten us about the new strategy of the Hezb... of using children to fire rockets.)
Or maybe we should wait for the "intelligence agencies" and the "investigations" to figure out the brand of ketchup that is being smeared on the "inflateable kids" and being passed off as blood ???

Maybe people should have gone to Dresden during the firebombing of it too in the battle against the Nazis?
Its war and the hezbollah declared 'open war' anyway. If anything I think the Israelis are too soft.
When are you going to the ME? Hey, maybe you can wear that green helmet too :D .

It does. If the rest of us buy into it. You have, I have not. You seem to be pissed off that I bought up the case against your 'friends' :p . If I had posted something against Israel I'm sure it'd please you.:D

You use civilian/UN sites for cover...you bear the responibility of their deaths. It does not matter of your PR guys count on sympathizers to flog that horse to milk your cause. Always the 'victim' is the motto remember?

Any 'open war' results in deaths of innocents...even if cowards do not fire from civilian areas.

Thats an idea for your 'green helmet' trip to the ME isnt it? :p .

There you go again............................. (dont want to comment on the personal attacks/"sniping" (maybe some other time ?:) )

You have not bought it, and neither have I, but You and I are not what it's targeted at....
For them, its getting the results that they desire.....

(A request- in between the numerous posts that i foresee you to be posting today, take some time to read ur post again, and make a sincere attempt to figure out what you have responded with.....
I respond to your posts, whenever I do, coz of the respect for the views, and I would prefer to continue to have that respect, rather than choosing to be immune to them....(i am not expecting you to agree with me)
I am sure that you are wise enough to NOT comprehend the above as "some sort of defeat"......If you do, lemme know, and maybe I can fine tune my responses too :)
Take care....)

What exactly did you do on this thread? OOPS, you were just trying to get me to see the 'truth' were'nt you? :) . My bad, sure!

Dude, you are not a 'victim' :D . Get out of that mentality and pass on your message on that visit to the MiddleEast. Maybe collective chanting of 'we are not victims' will help.

I am against them getting those results..thus the post. Savvy?
Whats your reason?

Hey, you present your views...I do mine. Where does the defeat/victor wisdom/dumbness come into the picture? What are you talking about? Dude, its just an online-board. Yeah, 'fine-tune' all you want :).

Lets get back to the topic can we ? We were talking about how Hezbollah is using propaganda to forestall getting its ass kicked decisively( inspite of using civilians as cover) . My question to you is how much of a 'victim' do you think those poor terrorists hezbollah are?:D

Jake.. how dare you call Hezbollah "terrorists"... They are freedom fighters (like our Apologists would proudly claim)..and should be treated like freedom fighters.

Isreal is the bad guy..using human shields is okay..afterall; "All is fair in love and war"... This definately is not war... this is JIHAD..so shut up you infiedel, submit yourself to the will of you-know-who...and repent !!!!

I have a question - a tangent if you will.

If More people around the world were subject to photographs of the horror and deaths (graphic pictures) do you think it would

a) desensitize people and make them ignore the tragedies of wars

b) Cause so much discomfort and horror that 1st world nations would exert more pressure on countries to cease fire in order to avoid senseless dying.

The reason I ask is that North americans are sheltered very carefully from death. Media here does not show the type of pictures allowed/seen in other countries.

thoughts?
