Hey guys,
Has anyone given or received the Visa Gift Card (from Citizens bank)?
How has it worked for you?
Any catches or warnings?
From their website it appears that the only way of ordering the card is by calling an 800 number - is that correct?
Please share your experience.
Thanks

I got this card as a gift from my employer, using this card is a pain. On any retail store your purchase has to be of exact same amount as value of the card, which is really very difficult. Finally I used this card at an Indian grocery store where they make transaction by entering the amount manually, so I could split my purchase on 2 cards and got rid of this card.

Hi RESP,
Using gift cards never should be a 'pain' unless used to last penny. Best option, with such freeby is to make best possible combination of purchages to let go some cents.
Next time get rid of such problem card by gifting it to someone ... (me).
