Cottage recommendations

Hello folks,

If you have rented a cottage before, and liked it, could you kindly post your recommendations here? I am planning on booking a couple for this spring and summer and maybe fall so any leads would be very much appreciated.

I don't need a list of websites as I have links to many I can search. I am looking for specific cottages. Also, I am looking for 2 bedroom cottages that are open to weekend rentals as opposed to weekly.

I am not too sure if you are looking within Canada or in the US as well.

If US is an option, I would highly recommend renting a cabin in a place called Smoky Mountains. It's near a small town called Gatlinburg in TN.

Just came back yesterday after a 10 day vacation. A beautiful place to visit, for sure. The cabin was on a mountain with three bedrooms. Gatlingburg had a lot to offer in terms of outdoorsy activities. Even though it wasn't too warm, we went hiking, which was a very good experience. We also went go-carting and then there was a sky lift that would take you to the top of a very steep mountain. My girl friend liked the sky-lift part the best.

Over all a wonderful vacation. Would highly recommend the place. It sure is gonna be a long drive from Canada though, or you might wanna take a flight to Gatlinburg and then rent a car there.

That's very useful information. Thanks a lot. I am sorry I failed to mention that I am looking for information regarding cottages in Ontario.

I have heard a lot about Smoky Mountains and I would like to go there for sure...
