I am completing application for Canada Citizenship as well as PR renewal
and one of the requirement is photos
I checked with Walmart as well as other stores
They are charging between $15-$17 for 2 photos
That means for 4 photos roughly $35 & family of four will spent $140
Is it possible to take photo at home itself & print
I have photo printer & quality is good
Is there any requirement that photos should be from studio or ant stamp etc
Also there are some good websites which helps in developing photos for difeerent purpose
One of them is
http://www.epassportphoto.com/Wizard.aspx?country=CA&photo=2
Can I use & print photos at home only?
can some one confirm me?
Also is there any other place where I can take photos at cheaper rates
Please note - It should be in Calgary, AB
Thanks
I used Costco for photos and their price is reasonable. Yes their is requirement of stamp with date on the photos from photographer, so can't print in the house.

Here is my advice:
Get the photos from Japan Camera - They are available in Calgary. Their quality of photos is very good. The photo stays on your citizenship card forever, so it is not worth going to a cheaper place like Wal Mart. My cdn passport photo is from Wal Mart and I will never go there again even if they offer me the cheapest deal. Thankfully, the passport expires after 5 years and we get an opportunity to get another photo taken.
Japan Camera knows the specifications and they provide everything including stamps at the back of the photos.
