Sure. THAT is the reason ALL muslims in India should raise revolt against Hurriyat and PDP goondas who have ethnically cleansed Kashmir of Hindu pandits. However, reality is Arundhati, Shabbo begum and TEESTA never shed tear for them. What you imply is that Muslim in India have NO equal right! It is just shameful and I am deeply hurt that nobody has objected to your bigoted statement. There are hundreds of Muslim enjoying politically powerful office and occupying high Government post, Industrialists (Azim Premji), lawyers, doctors and other prominent professionals thanks to unmatched Hindu tolerance. CAn you think of any minority in any ISLAMIC country occupying position of power? Now do not quote example of boot licking Saudi king ceding defacto power to USA. I think you require to clean filth in your mind first and then perhaps you will be able to see clearly.

Give us your points and prove them from constitution point of view. Do not get into obvious issues of communal violence, dalit status etc. We are talking about rights/status/opportunities here.
Is it not true minorties have same status/rights/opportunities as majority community? I can go one step further. Actually minority have separate civil code like muslim personal law.
If this was not the case, we would not have Presidents, prime ministers, Army Chiefs, Bollywood superstars from minority community.
Minority can vote, practice his/her religion (not just inside home but outside as well like building Mosque, Chruch etc). Constitutionally, even spread their religion. That's what is missing in some countries like Saudi. That's all Seenappa was trying to say. Minorities are like second class citizens in some countries and whereas this is not the case in India. Got the point now
Leave the filth aside as that was not the point of discussion. Filth exist in every country in one form ot another.
Christianty is major religion in north eastern states. We have second largest population of muslims in India. Every community is contributing towards develpoment of country.
Yes overall system like law and order, judiciary needs improvement but that affects every community, minority or majority.

NO the hindus / christians in Saudi Arabia don't have the same rights as muslims in India .... and the reason for that is the muslims in India are Indian citizen while as hindus / christians in Saudi Arabia are immigrant workers !!!!!! For that matter Indian muslim have same rights as hindu/ christians in Saudi Arabia.
To go a step further i would say that hindus / christians, if they are citizens of an islamic country do have rights ...... can fill you up on that anytime !!!!

Do not want to indulge into Pak bashing but want to make a point here
1) Can minority vote for muslim candidate in Pakistan (Islamic State). As far as I know they can only vote for contituency reserved for minority (very few). They do not have any political power.
2) Can a person from minority marry a women from majority community without converting? I mean that's illegal in Pakistan.
These are basic rights for a citizen of any country.
In short, minority is treated much better in India as compared to some other countries. They do have equal rights/status/opportunity when compared to majority community.

Here nobody is talking about legal rights (which also, I believe are not at par). Islamic countries have no human rights record. Where is question of treating minorities there with respect. It is sheer waste of time and energy even to meaningfully discuss anything with these kind of morons
