PVC after getting passport submission request

I applied application in Buffalo, USA in feb 2008 and after medical in Dec 2008 i received request to submit passport in Mar 09.
After applying i returned back to India in mar 08. I submitted my ielts in july 08 and medical from India.
My question is, when i will go to submit passport for Visa stamping will CIC ask Police Verification Certificate (PVC) as i have been in India for last more than 6 months?
Is there anyone having same kind of exp? Please reply.

No! You will not be asked to submit the PVC at this stage. Send your PP thru good courier co asap.
