Any one know of any agent/deal to get Rogers internet?

Rogers....he he he....I don't know about you....I sincerely would not advice Rogers Internet...... I was with Rogers and because of their bad service and high cost...i switched to Bell Sympatico....

You can look for other service providers who are better than Rogers and Bell in terms of cost and performance..... check out the link http://www.toronto.hm/isp.html

My experience with Roger had been (very bad), each time they will add on some very unexpected charges. Each time I had to call, waste time and some charges are dropped. But I see those (dropped) charges again in next bill as unpaid. Call them again and ...
Finally end up paying more than setteled intially. Noting down reference number and details of conversation is of little help. Each time a new person speaks and a new story starts.

While taking their services (Internet and Cable), I specifically confirmed that there is no contract of any sort and I could cancel at any time. When I called for cancellation, I was told the services will continue for 30 days as 30 day notice is required to stop the services.
Basically this means I was in 30 day contract at any time. Needless to say, I was made to pay about 100 $ without any usage.

I had all the similar exprience in the past and I too hate Rogers. But Bell does not offer the speed that I am looking for in my area. Although unreliable but I think Rogers offer the better speed. I might just get one bell and one acnac instead of Rogers.

Rogers is not alone. Most of the phone/internet service providers require a 30-day notice of cancellation in Canada.
