Where do you live?
Is there a car rental counter nearby (Enterprise, Hertz, National, Avis, etc.)?
If so, do a one-way rental from your town to the Pearson airport.
On the way back, do the same (pick-up at the airport, drop off in your town).
Would be cheaper than a taxi if you live far away from the airport.
You will save on the parking too.
Essentially what you are paying for is a 1 day rental each way.
But first you have to make sure that the rental company and the agency in your town allows one-way rentals.

If you live close to downtown then Airport Express is a good service. Their buses are similar to the long haul Greyhound buses ie. they have a large trunk for passenger baggage.
$20 per head, one way. $33 per head for a round trip(check if the ticket is valid for the duration of your trip so that you can use it when you return to YYZ).

Thank You everyone for your responses. It helps a great deal. I live near East York and I will sure check the rental options, plus will also check the bus deals available - Much apreciated fellas
I am also travelling and what I am doing is taking my car and parking it at a friends business. It is close to the airport so the cab will cost me $10 from there.

We were in similar situation few days back.My husband knew someone at airport hotel. We parked the car the the hotel and used their shuttle service both ways by paying just $6 (per person) each way.
May be this can help someone who can get parking at any airport hotel.

Checkout kijiji... there are many offering pick up/drop off services and reduced rates than taxi (GTAA charges $10 per ride or so from taxi cabs, which they pass on to the traveller) I haven't personally used any, so can't recommend.
