Hello all,

Is it advisable to have 24K gold purchased from back home and brought here to canada in shape of biscuits for sale ? I am talking not very huge quantity but very small quantities ofcourse however i was curious to know if this is a smart way to earn money ?

Plus is there a limitation to the $$ value of items that you can carry when you travel to Canada ? All assistance is as always much appreciated.

So you say gold is cheaper in India ? And cheaper enough to make you some money if you could ?

Please research and probably you will find that it might be lucrative the other way around.

Why not buy gold biscuits here , Why buy them from India

where would be the best place in Toronto to buy gold biscuits ? Any idea what type of gold would be the best to buy as in what carat is preferable for investment ?

To name two ... Scotia or Royal Bank. (http://www.scotiamocatta.com/products/bars.htm) Dig a bit.
Only problem is that there is no negotiation or discount. The rates are as per the market.
After currency conversion, it does not make any difference where you buy gold.
