Hello CDs,

We are looking for a setup converter/transformer from 110V to 220V and able to handle around 500W. Does anyone know where we can get this in Toronto and how much it would cost?

I don’t know what type of accommodation you are living in. If you own a house than you can ask an electrician to make 220V outlet (frequency can not be changed in any case though), as you already have 220V supplied to you accommodation. If you are living in an Apartment building than you will have to get permission from building management, and am sure you won’t get that

When I immigrated from Middle East, I did carry some 220V appliances, though I had step up transformer but it was not very convenient so I decided to make one 220V outlet… and since last 7 years am using it
