No its not suffcient.You have to give your cheque and all the details of account where money to be transfered.its so simple.

you need to send all the transfer details to your bank in India, which you can get from your local bank here.

Also make sure that your bank will not convert the money that you send from India into CAD unless confirming the exchange rate with you. (not necessary if you are transfering the funds in CAD from India.). If you do not do this you can loose big time on the exchange rate
