Hi,
need help with this, please :
1) is it possible to get temporary use prepaid sim cards at the airport?
2) are there any big cars/taxis at the airport to carry 4 ppl and quite some baggage (abt 8 pieces) to carry in one car or have to take 2 cars?
3) can use US dollars or have to have canadian?
4)is it customary to tip the taxi guy ? if yes , how much is normal?
5)or for that matter to tip the concierge or the guy who brings your baggage to the room? how much to tip them?

thank you in adv.

Wow; If 'Tipping' is so much in the thoughts, why one would worry so much about how much ...

1. No Idea hope others can help.
2. Yes, ask for a mini van.
3. US will be fine but they use the same exchange rate..I mean 1:1
4 and 5- We normally tip $10 for taxi (if the travel time is more than 45 minutes or above, less than that $5 is okay too, for a two minute taxi I normally tip $2) $5 for concierge guy.

Hope it helps...........Jona

Why not, Mr Ben?

...well, let me guess. why....?
maybe bcos

If u tip too little than is the norm, you'd sound rude and may help others in being judgemental about our folks,
if you tip too much, either you are very generous(for which you need to be rich and large hearted) or a show off (for which u need hardly anything)
if you understand everything without asking you are very smart
and if you act haphazardly, then you are a smart alec.

and there maybe others who may find even the taxi fare high, but still not want to sound rude.

hope you got your explanation.
thanks anyways for taking the effort.

And jonav,

thanks very much for the detailed info, very sweet of you.
