another India vs Canada thread.

Maybe we need a category on Charcha called "India vs Canada". And then a feature to filter out all msgs from that category.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/English/citizenship/cit-ceremony.asp

This is the oath of citizenship:

I swear (or affirm) that I will be faithful and bear true allegiance to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second, Queen of Canada, Her Heirs and Successors, and that I will faithfully observe the laws of Canada and fulfil my duties as a Canadian citizen.

Has anyone thought about this oath and that M Gandhi struggled all his life to free Indians from the dominance of British Crown and now we despair to get it back?

So when the WWIII starts and the UK has a chance to get back their lost colony, they will be calling freedom fighters like Gandhi to be terrorists as they were called during that time and since you are sworn to the Queen you may be drafted and kill the same people in which you take pride today; no integrity - no strength.

The second one was worse than the first and third one is likely to reach new high.

I fail to understand why people who return back to India are glorifying about India .

Also its better if some people leave as pressure on land and other resources is reduced in India .

Canadian healthcare and my experience, a kid not feeling well hence taken to family doc, some medicine given and asked to come after two days . After one day condition does not improve and is taken to a hospital as an emergency , the nurse does not monitor the dose properly and the kid colapses, kid is brain dead for twenty minutes and brought back after twenty minutes then shifted to sick kid hospital . Yes now the kid is better but i do not trust free healthcare.

has anyone read 'Animal farm' by George Orwell I see some similarities

I would be landing in Canada on 20th June 2010 and one thing is sure I would not return back disappointed. I love hardship

Welcome friend, you are certainly headed for the right place for that :)

Just a word to the wise though, there is a line between hardship and undue hardship, if you get my drift ;)

Good Luck
