baggage question from Delhi to Mumbai

I have return tickets to Delhi on American Airlines (cheaper to buy till delhi). Now I am thinking that the onward journey from Delhi to Mumbai might have problems with the baggage allowance. I will be carrying 2 pieces of checked in baggage (23 kgs each) but the domestic sector might not allow so much. I haven't bought Delhi Mumbai tickets yet. Anyone has any ideas please advice.

Just as an FYI, since you're flying AA, if your flight is via the US, you have to go thru US customs too.

Pl check your ticket. As per info to me AA will allowed only one bag.
