We are going tomorrow morning to the local CIC office to sign the landing papers
I know that I have to take the documents that I have received from CIC Buffalo, our passports and my work permit.
Are there any other documented that we should take with this us. Like Birth Certificates, Marriage Certificate, Degree etc.
For PR Card, are we required to give additional pictures
Tried calling the CIC call center and they had no clue how the internal landing works!!! Tried calling the local CIC office but phone just rings. Went to local CIC office but was told by the security officer to call the call center for any quires
Is there anyone on this forum who has actually done the landing internally in Canada. Pls share the experience...
Thanks

this is an internal landing, no need to cross the border, just take your passport and the letter received from buffalo along with the proof of funds, no need of photos, they already have it in their system.Let us know tomorrow how it goes.
Hi Freddie
We are already in Canada for the last two year. Travelling to the nearest border from Halifax with a 4 month old baby is not an option. So I opted for doing the landing internally at the local CIC office.
Thanks for your reply
Hi Quest
If we take the print of our bank balance from net banking, will it be sufficient or the statement should be stamped by the bank. It is already 4:50 PM here and I wont be able to reach bank before it closes
Thanks
Update
We entered the office of CIC at 9:00 AM, We were called in at abo. 9:05 AM and we were out of the office by 9:19 AM
Documents asked
1. Original Passport
2. My Work Permit and Visitors Records for my wife and daughter
2. Confirmation of Permanent Residency papers that we received from Buffalo
PR card will come in about 4~6 weeks
We have to get new health card which we can do now
We have to get new SIN number which is done only when we get the PR card
So only 14 mins and no running to border we got our permanent residency
congrats on the PR
Health Card - if you already have an existing card, they will not issue a new one, you have to wait till it gets expired. For new Health card(for your family) you can apply now, but it will only be effective 90 days from the day you become PR
For SIN - You do not have to wait for PR card, you can show your COPR letter they will issue a new SIN number, the card will be mailed
