I see lots of people here in Toronto who say that they work becuase they get bored at home. A job in toronto to get relief from Boredom?
In my view, it is more rewarding to go to some Ashram or home for handicapped to do service to humanity.

Have you tried to work voluntarily? Go to school and tell them you are ready to wrk voluntarily, they will ask you whether we have completed 5 years in canada. My dear friend, I went to school to offer voluntary work for 2-3 hours they told me sorry, first I have to complete 5 years in canada, then only, I am eligible to work voluntarily in school.

This is pure bullshit if the school has told you that. My wife volunteers in a school and she started that when we were here for just over an year, All they require is a police clearance certificate which is not a big hassle. Speak to the principal about this.
