Hi all,
We are moving to Canada at the end of this month. I wanted to know if anyone has any idea of a good school in Mississauga near Square One. We plan to find accomodation thereabouts after we land.
Can someone also guide us as to how to go about furninshing our appartment, if we want to buy good and sturdy second hand furniture.
If we choose to take up a furnished appartment, what would be the cost differential (Condo). Would there be sufficient savings?
Thanks in advance to all and anyone who reads my post and chooses to spend their time in replying to the same.

After you find a place to live near Square One, you can check in this link, which school is close by and in a short walking distance to the place where you live. Most of the schooling is FREE. There will only be a month left out of our current school year. So, prepare for the next year which starts on the FIRST TUESDAY of September, Day after the Labour Day.

If you rent a place with furnishings, your cost will be 150% of the rentals. It has that much premium as people wreck them while they are staying there. So, they add over and above the rental cost. Now pray do tell me how will there be any savings?!
Apartments are by far the best and easy to rent. Condos will be a lot more expensive to rent and maintain. Compare the rentals to get an idea. Furnished places are very costly to rent and you will find them outrageous. All of these are not set in concrete, it is based on individual preferences and what they are used to.
Now are you ready to land here. Welcome to Canada.
Freddie.
Gosh!! No matter whatever else people may say about life and living in Canada. I can surely say, that people go out of their way to help and be helpful.
That was a wonderful detailed reply which must have taken up some time.
Thanks a lot Freddie!
