Dear All,
Thanks again for your Info
I would like to know if the visa on the passport is for single or multiple entry?
I mean in the second time if i wish to enter Canada, is the PR card + a new passport are enough? OR the Immigration visa SHOULD be on the passport EVEN for the SECOND entry along with the PR card???
this is my concern in case of any damage that might happen to the passport after getting out of Canada and i will be obliged to get a new one.
Thanks for sharing your Info

Prior to landing, you get a stamping and a COPR. (Confirmation Of Permanent Resident. (Status).
'Status' is like 'Being a resident' of.... (Such as resident of India, Canada USA etc.,) To obtain that status.....
With this COPR paper and your stamped Passport ans with all of the other required proofs, (Education, Funds, and etc., etc., ) you get through the Immigration process at the P.O.E. You become Landed Resident of Canada, which is now called a 'Permanent Resident' status.
Permanent Residents can come and go as they please, as long as they have their PR cards to show that they are one. It is like come and go go as you please and as many times as you would like to. You can now do that too. Is this answer sufficient for you.?? You must have the PR Card and your VALID Passport in hand at the time of crossing the borders.
Taking care of your Passport/s and PR cards isa MUST. And you should look after that. (So. Don't damage it or Loose it). If you want to get a few photocopies of the passport pages after the process is completed , you should do that also. Keep them in a safe place.
Freddie.
What I mean ,is that in the second time if i get a new passport from my home country (which will not have the immigrant visa)+ the PR,Can I enter or the Visa must be in passport EVEN for the second ENTRY
thanks
It is enough that you have the PR card and the renewed passport. The passport does not need to have the visa once you are PR.

Thanks you both for replying
My point is that in case of any damage happen to the passport that have the immigrant visa or a mistake stamp that can be stamped on the visa itself ( for example : while cancelling a residence visa of a certain country i reside in "in case they mistakenly" stamped CANCELED on the Canadian Visa) ,
or any other case that will obliged me to issue a new passport consequently the old passport will be with the issuing authority in my country and they will give me a new passport which will not have the visa.
Will then the PR + a new passport (Without the visa) are enough for the second entry?
