Dear All,
I got my Immigration visa and I'm planning to do my first landing, the city stated in my C.O.P.R is Edmonton (which is the city I mentioned while filling the initial application), But in case I would like to settle and do my first entry in other city, say Toronto or other cities (Except Quebec due to different regulations):
1-Can I continue my immigration process and citizenship process in this city or at the end I should go and settle in Edmonton?
2-in case I can continue the procedure in Toronto I think I must document my intention to reside and shift the file from Edmonton to Toronto? If yes, do I need to bring any supporting documents to do that from my country of current residence and from my home country? For example birth certificate, job experience certificates, proof of fund.....
Your quick response will be highly appreciated

hi,
u can complete ur landing process in toronto and u can also settle. as per my knowledge no other proof required for that. if u have canadian address for pr card u have to give it at landing time otherwise u have 90 days to submit it.
hope it helps.

You can contuinue process & after that land anywhere in Canada ( except New Foundland I think )
After that stay & settled anywhere, no one is agoing to ask you question
Just keep details like address etc.. This is required during Citizenship
hello
thanks for you kind replies
my question is that in case i do land in Toronto(which is not the city stated on my COPR),should i file my intention to reside? and should i present any document again and again like bank proof of fund, work experience certificates, birth certificates......??
thanks again for you info

proof of fund required where ever u land. u do not need any clarification statment for landing in toronto.
all other document which u mentioned are required for ur future use in canada, not for landing purpose.
u got PR for canada not for city.

Dear All,
Thanks again for your Info
I would like to know if the visa on the passport is for single or multiple entry?
I mean in the second time if i wish to enter Canada, is the PR card + a new passport are enough? OR the Immigration visa SHOULD be on the passport EVEN for the SECOND entry along with the PR card???
this is my concern in case of any damage that might happen to the passport after getting out of Canada and i will be obliged to get a new one.
Thanks for sharing your Info
