Umm, just landed in Montreal. Nobody asked about the funds I was carrying.

In fact, the whole immigration process seemed a little disorganized. I could have just walked out without showing my landing document etc. But I went back and asked the customs guys who then directed me to the correct place where they processed my papers.

Yeah, about the 20,000...I took that with a pinch of salt
