Visiting Mumbai in Dec: any suggestions/advice for travel arrangements

Hello,
My family is planning on visiting Mumbai in December. Does anyone have any airlines/ airline booking mode/agents whom they recommend or conversely recommend avoiding? Any advice would be appreciated.
We were thinking of travelling by Air Canada. Any alternate suggestions?

Air Canada has a code share flight with Lufthansa. Try that. YYZ-Munich-BOM. The wait times at Munich are shorter. And Lufthansa flies a newer A340 from Munich.

I also read that Lufthansa is considering A380 to Delhi. Not to Mumbai as probably the runway cannot handle the large aircraft.
