I have oath on APR 30th and planning to apply for canadian passport on oath day itself.


Any Idea how long it takes after applying in person. Did anybody experienced delays.

hi, as i know , it takes 10 days to apply in person, there seems no delays at present, however it depends on where you will apply it.
by the way, would you pls tell me when and where you took the test, and when did you receive the letter for oath. did the e client status changed from "in process " to " decision made" after you took the test.

I will ask my relative the details about how she applied the passport lately. good luck.

this is answer to ur question I had the test on march 11 at scraborough twon center no update on the e-cilent yet still in process i do now a few ppl had the test on march 2-3 5-8 11-12 one of them in downtown toronto on my knowledge noneof them receive the oath letter yet and i do belive the delay is due to the long Easter holiday and summer vacation must of them took the summer break on april, i have read ur questions at settlement.org and u have been throw fingerprint and it is been almost two years and u are very panic about this situation but u are not the only one we all are .we are in the same boat non have receive the letter i hope we start reciving the letters next week i will keep u update on the status and u please do so

hi, Jhon, thank you so much for your message , it is really a relief to me , only we understand how frustrated to wait for such a long time. we have all our plan, vocation, a lot of things changed over past 2 years. ok, there is no use to make complain here, we all have a lot of complain to make, i believe. thanks again for sharing the information. pls do kindly let me know if any of your guys received oath letter as soon as possible. i will also post my progress if any. good luck .
