No religion is perfect...especially when each individual is a religion in itself. Millions left hinuism, agreed.. that is probably because it is allowed. But there are sikhs that started to shave their head and beard and there are folks who smokes. At the same time there hindus who very conveniently eats beef. Many Muslims drink alcohols and same goes for Christians and its branches. There is no point in instigating others by showing how bad other religion is.
If You have hatred for some individual/incident keep it that way but generalizing and trying to prove other religion bad is like looking up at sky on spitting...you will end up messing your own freaking face.
Take the good things of each religion and you will see the improvement within yourself.

For your very kind information , Hinduism as it stands today is a very very tolerant religion -- more of a way of life and unlike other religions , does not believe in coercing people in joining religion ...
Its not any gori -- its Julia Roberts .... I hope you know who she is ... much like when Richard Gere embraced Buddhism , it became news .... this is more associated with her celebrity status than anything else ....\
Lastly , won't you agree that despite the fact that Hinduism may be despised by people , it has off shoot prominent religions of the world like Sikhism , Buddhism , Jainism ..... there must be some thing in the religion and the land ....
Isn't it the oldest religion ......it existed much before any of the other religions came into formation and yet has never been known to infringe on other regions / religions .... Isn't that something to think about .... ????
Finally why do we always want to be one up in terms of religion / what ever else ..... Can't we be contented with 'to each his own' thinking ???

Millions and Millions left hinduism to become muslims and christians in India. Still the process is going on. No word said about it and one gori just visited some historical places of hindus and not really converted to hinduism and people have become so happy. First thing she would have done after landing in USA is eat beef burger and steak.

I would like to have some information on the facts and figures about who are converting to hinduism these days and in the past 20-30 years.
Most of down trodden Hindus ( SC , ST , BC's --- sudra have converted to chirstian and muslim, they were not getting fair deal in hinduism)
Nothing to be proud of when millions left the sect and one gori ( not really)joined. It is a loosing preposition. It should not have been a big news. No one is going to become Hindu by just seeing that gori becoming hindu.
There are upper and lower castes in Muslims, Christians and Sikhs in India.
