Something what experience taught me .... Never use a screw / knife to make a hole in the belt ....
And when purchasing one , try to get a fit in which the central hole fits your waste , that way you have scope either way ....
Leather belts last good .

I went to Dixie outlet mall last week and got a few holes puched on two of my leather belts. I went to one of the kiosks near Aldo outlet inside the mall. The owner of the kiosk was a desi. He charged me $1.00 for each belt and puched a few holes.

Hi ,
What I usually do is hold the belt between two pieces of scrap wood and drill it.
I got one special belt punch from india was really a tuff one. Why dont u asked some one to bring for u from india it less than 1kg of weight

there is an asian shop in front of bulk barn next to sears in square one, or one more next to walmart on the lower level, he will do it for 50cents....amazing advise from desi friends...drilling/belt punch etc
