OHIP coverage for returning Canadian citizen

Anyone know when coverage starts for a returning Canadian Citizen and family?
I have been away for over 10 years. Kids are Canadian citizens as born to a Canadian citizen. Thanks

Same as PRs.. 90 days after your arrival in Ontario.

Hi friends,
My daughter isscheduled to marry in India , and she is likely to stay away in India for a period of the initial 2 years , while still maintaining her citizenship, what are the legl obligations on my part to fulfill with the CIC?
Please share your experiences .
How long is OHIP covered after she departs? Her OHIP card is also due for renewal after she leaves .
Please guide .

Hello, thanks for your response.

Can you tell me the best way to apporoach this?

My OHIP application was rejected. OHIP has told me to appeal without specifying what if any new information is required.

I have called and also visited OHIP office. Unfortunately no one seems to know what new information must be submitted with this appeal.

You were supposed to apply only after staying three months in Ontario. Did you complete your stay?
