The child is a Canadian Citizen if born to a parent or parents that is/are Canadian Citizens irrespective of where the child is born.

"Born Outside Canada after
February 14, 1977
You are a Canadian citizen
You are a Canadian citizen if you were born outside Canada and:
you were born after February 14, 1977; and
you had a parent who was Canadian at the time of your birth. "
You will need to contact the immigration officials (embassy/high commission) to obtain a proof of citizenship and/or passport for the child. Don't know about how long it would take to get all these.

It takes about 5-7 months for the cild to get a citizenship card and then you can apply for a passport for him

We will find a way or we will make one
Thanks
