I have XP on my PC. I can only open max of 3 windows at a time. Not sure what is wrong, PC or the XP. Sometimes I have to open more than 3.
Is there a way to correct this?

Its seems ur system are in bottle neck in memory. 240mb ram is not comfortable for running multiple process.

u can check ur system performance , press Ctrl+Alt+Del, u will get option to get into Task Manager , check performance monitor window, see pulses of ur RAm and CPU usage.

Share ur finding with me.

Thanku,

may be u have the "Starter Edition" of XP.
Starter Edition

Windows XP Starter Edition is a lower-cost version of Windows XP available in Thailand, Vietnam, Turkey, Indonesia, India, Colombia, Brazil, Argentina, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Mexico, Ecuador, Uruguay, and Venezuela. It is similar to Windows XP Home, but is limited to low-end hardware, can only run 3 programs at a time, and has some other features either removed or disabled by default.

According to a Microsoft press release, Windows XP Starter Edition is "a low-cost introduction to the Microsoft Windows XP operating system designed for first-time desktop PC users in developing countries."
