Not necessary IMO
U may be true just 1%, but that is too less to be ignored. We are not talking about anything which is 100% correct.
But money is such a big factor in life that u can make ur life decent with it.
Perhaps you misunderstood me. What I am trying to say is that being a rich person in India (or any other country) is no guarantee of happiness. The quality of life should also be taken into account. Individual freedom, freedom of thought & expression, political stability etc. etc. also does count.
I bet most of the rich Indians have a summer abode in western countries.

Majority is lower middle class/some poors or those who failed in India and like to make more money..
I don't see any IIT/Roorkee/AIIMS folks in Canada....reason is obivious![]()
This is the truth...whether we like or not:

This is not meant to beat up on India.
My BIL caught Dengue after his trip from India. This was 2 years ago. Was not fun at all. My wife had to take a month family medical leave (FMLA per US laws where she works) to stay with him until my MIL could come over to take over. Anyway, beyond the logistics, my BIL was in the hospital for several days with continual blood transfusion. Doctors were not aware of Dengue. Through some miracle, one of the doctors at another hospital suggested Dengue and they conferenced in doctors from various locations until Dengue was confirmed. Then he had to be given steroids to stimulate white blood cell production. The steroids created hemorrage (bad spell) as it thinned out the clotter.....and so on.
One of my wife's friends' relative in Delhi has Dengue now and they have put out blood request plea on Facebook
My grandmother contracted chickungunya with excruciating joint pains and suffered for days on.
I am sure you can contract all sorts of crap from anywhere if you don't exercise common sense, but I'd suggest if you are traveling to Delhi or areas where Dengue seems prevalent, enjoy the trip, but take caution. They are not fun if you end up getting them.
