But can you get a good job (not labour or heavy for $10) is the question?

I may be wrong but I think you make somewhere around $1300-$1350 a month with $10/hour with all the deductions. So savings in that case might be around $0-50 a month in the above calculation.

Call center jobs are not physically painful and can pay around the same.
