Hi,
I had a few queries regarding this Ontario PNP - "Opportunities Ontario" program:
1) I was planning to do a 1 year Post Graduation diploma course in Advertising management from Sheridan College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning, will i qualify for 'Opportunities Ontario - Provincial Nominee Program'?
2) After completion of my 1 year PG diploma course, I'll apply for Post Graduation Work permit which will be for 1 year, So I'll be in Canada for 2 years (1 year PG studies and 1 year PGWP), so is this time (2 years) enough for me to apply for 'Opportunities Ontario - Provincial Nominee Program'? When Should I apply in these 2 years?
3) Once I apply to 'Opportunities Ontario - Provincial Nominee Program'. will i get a work permit? or should I apply for PGWP?
4) Will my Employer have to demonstrate recruitment efforts for hiring Canadians / PR's for the same position?
5) To qualify for 'Opportunities Ontario - Provincial Nominee Program' should my offer of permanent / full-time employment from an Ontario employer be related to my field of study?
I would appreciate your insights and guidance.
Thanking you.
Sincerely,
Merwyn Xavier
U are nuts...
Hi Dude,
By you reply I'm assuming I'll not be eligible for "Opportunities Ontario" PNP.
I should have read the eligibility criteria carefully..
Thanks,
Merwyn
When i mean u are nuts..
i mean u are building a house of cards.. one thing leads to another and so on and so forth...
This is not the usa where u get a student visa and then complete the course and get a job on 1 year WP..
These things dont always materialize as planned in canada and lot of people either leave dejected or are doing menial jobs..
So please stop asking these questions over and over again in one form or the other..
If u are interested in studying then explore that option, and why for gods sake do u want to spend money to study in sheridan college wow..
if u are looking for immigration, then i suggest u use the regular channels of independent category application or find a Canadian spouse..
The avenues u are exploring are for desperate failures who have too much money to spare..
