Masood Sahab,
Let me post my query here for everyone to analyze. I would however like your opinion.
I had applied for citizenship in the year 2002 (Nov 2002 to be precise). After plenty of meandering and stuff I contacted the CIC office here in Ottawa and they informed me that my police verification has come back. (This was done in March this year).
I am wondering, how long will it take for me to get a call for writing that (damn) test ! Is there any time frame ? The lady at the CIC office told me that my case was on a fast track basis as it was an old case.
What do you suggest I can do ? (as its May..2 more months have passed)

I applied for citizenship in Nov 2001. In March 2003 (yes after 14 months!!) they came back to me and asked me for finger prints. It took them 10 months to analyze/check the finger prints. In Januray 2004 they got my finger prints result but they said by that time my security checks have expired. So they started my security checks again. Finally on May 4th I got the test done and now I have got May 28th as my date for Oath.

I applied for citizenship in April 2002. In july 2003 I took my test and also sent em my fingerprints. And to this day(10 months) I am still waiting for the final call. I hope this process to end before I run out of money. Can anyone give me an idea how long the background checks take place. I am getting very frustrated and disappointed really really.

did they asked u for the fingerprint after the test did u have the written citizenship test and then asked u for the fingerprint please advice

Finger prints????????
Wrote the test and oath is next month. Now where is this finger print coming from? Getting more confused.
