Hi Everybody,

I was landed in Toronto on 5th December 2003 with my family. I had applied for driving license on 10th December 2003. When I applied, I was holding a Dubai (United Arab Emirates) driving license issued on 13th March 2002 (i.e., 1 year and 8 months old as on that date). So she advised, if it would have been 2 years old then you could directly go for G road test. But unfortunately there were 4 months left to get 2 years old, so I had to go through G2 road test. Fortunately G2 is also cleared in the first attempt on 18th, December 2003.

Now my query is that, after how long I could appear for G test (ie. G2 Exit) ?. Could I apply any time for G test full license. Moreover after how long I could apply for heavy vehicle license (Bus, Truck and Air breaks).

Your response in this regard would be highly appreciated

Thank you for all your help, will give my friend the info , but will also advise him to think of some other profession as after putting in 15 years of law practice , no point in studying law again for 4 years . What do you advise .
