Any thing in particular one should be careful about while leaving Canada and entering US. Any issues on re-entering Canada? Or is it just regular and routine?

i think it applies to if crossin is via road. i wud call Border Information Service or CIC to confirm.
The single-entry visa authorizes you to enter Canada only once; however, with a U.S. visa, you can go into the U.S. and return to Canada even if you have a single-entry visa (as long as the authorized period of stay in Canada has not expired).
