Hi, I wanted to get an idea about the job prospects IT professionals in Canada, especially Toronto and GTA. I am working in this field and wanted to know that for professionals working in technologies such java, oracle, unix, performance engineering etc. how are the chances of getting good jobs here. I have worked for 4 years in USA and 3 years in India and currently working in Canada on a work permit for a US company. Any inputs will help me decide where to settle down finally.

I live in Brampton and don't find IT guys very frequently, as was the case in Chicago USA. So was wondering if there are good prospects for software guys here.

Generally, I would say yes as far the common platforms are concerned.

Just need bit of thrust to start and its not that difficult afterwards.
