1) Pl refrain from using the actual names. This is a public forum and the comments areopen for anyone to see.
2) Need some more details such as did they provide work permit to you..did they ask for any kind of documentation from youto apply for PR?
3) where are you currently employed? in the sense areyou getting salary in CAD or in INR?
I don;t think you can get a PR in 9 - 12 months if you are applying from India. Experts can comment.
Keep posting the development as this is a little bit strange case.
I do believe that there is a fast track by which people (IT) are getting their PR from India within one year ( from date of application to getting the PR letter).....I have come across atleast 5-6 such people.....
One can get immigration to Canada from India even in less than a year now under new fast track processing. I have seen people getting immigration on 7 months. As per your post, I think your employer is proposing any of the below mentioned:
1) Skilled immigration.
2) Arranged employment.
Skilled immigration: You qualify under this category only if your occupation/ job profile is given in the list published by CIC. You can find that list from CIC website. If your occupation and job responsibilities match the details given, you stand a good chance to qualify provided you score 67 points. You also need to provide proof of your work experience and proficiency in English.
Arranged employment: Even if you do not fall under skilled category, you can still qualify if you have a job offer from Canadian organisation. It seems that your case is falling under this category.
kindly do the complete check about the authenticity of company and offer. Are you also paying any amount to any consultant for this offer?
