But as one protester in Chennai said, if they don't succeed in Gandhian way people may go the Bagat Singh way.

Thanks for the view from India ..... you are right most of these people don't know how India works. Corruption is firmly ingrained in India and that unfortunately is the reality.
Not to go far, we have seen one of our own ..... a CD who had been posting all kinds of items about corruption from Kangress ...... the first chance he gets to "benefit" from corruption, he pays the bribe for some material gain without batting an eyelid.
So it is all good for now ... wait till the "lokpal" brings a list of corrupt politicians and most of them have a name "mehta" or something ..... the same people will be on road calling it a "consipracy theory" !!!!!!
After a list of 28 people with swiss account was "leaked" ..... no one is talking about black money in Swiss accounts ..... it was a hot topic just a few months back .... i wonder what happened !!!!!

Yessss, realistically people like you are ruling and running India, so I understand your veiw 'from India'. However, it can't change my view of thinking. I won't argue further, good luck.![]()
Team Anna has managed to hit the 'refresh' button. A few changes will take place....but..... will that be enough to take care of the moral corruption that is wide spread in our psyche now...
To me, India needs a 'reset' button.. time to start from the beginning once again.. however is that possible???? May be no.
“First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.” said Mahatma Gandhi.
Anna Hazare's Case was same. Govt , first ignored him , laughed him off but today atleast agreed to his demand seeing the resolve, 'popularity' and 'samarthan' of his thought.
Strangely same happened during his agitation on RTI with maharshtra govt.
Yeh, today we have many people in India (majority) who are ignoring and laughing , throwing negative comments on strength of anti corruption movement Because they see bribe as only solution to all the problems they face, be it setting up a business or be it adding a member to ration card in other words they do not want to go tougher way of waiting in line but slowly when they see some results coming out of lokpal implementation they will join the brigade.
Media is playing huge role here , and should continue to highlight the aftermath of this law. Continued able leadership on this movement will be key to its success.
Lets not blame the people who are negative today, they are just proving the phenomenon which Gandhi discovered.
