The real difference in the education system starts from University level.
Really?
That means I can build a multistorey building with foundation built with mud mortar?
I was thinking that your core knowledge you gained in pre-university helps you succeed in university.
In India almost any one can join in an engineering college ( ofcourse who has money) and become an engineer. There are more than 600 engineering colleges in A.P and virtually any student one who completes 12 class can get an admission. It doesn't mean that their foundation is strong.
When you are only comparing the school education, compare apples with apples. Compare the Govt. school education of Canada (which is known as public schools) with the Govt. schools of India. If you want to compare the private schools of India, compare them with the private schools of Canada. Do you have any idea of Govt. schools standard in India?

In the previous post, you said that don’t compare the University education – only compare the school education. Now you are giving me an example of BE.
If you think the govt schools in India are providing a good standard education, I don’t want to argue any more.

So, here it goes. For all the skeptics and naysayers for Canadian education system.
Times ranked 3 Canadian Universities in top 25(UofT, UBC, and UMcGill). Go figure.
http://ca.news.yahoo.com/blogs/dailybrew/times-higher-education-ranks-three-canadian-universities-among-205315497.html
Not a mention of any Indian university or institution.
So, who would comment first that the ranking is skewed?
Delhite, I wholeheartedly agree with you. I studied in Govt. school and the level of education is least say the best. Students in Govt. schools succeed not because of the schools but despite of them. Yes, I agree that the teachers are more educated, but heck! Do they even care to teach or just put emphasis on Tuition alone?
One succeeds with the overall personality development, not just by being a 'Lakeer Ka Fakeer' and 'Cramming'.

What I see that students in India (Be in private or govt) are more logically skilled. You can put them in any part of the world and they have more brain power and learn things fast. That is one of the main reasons of Asian students excel here (in schools or univ.)

Fido.
As for medical services , I have personally seen cancer patients being attended to and given the most expensive of therapies w/o any discrimination or costs to the patient or the family and have found the doctors here to be much more sincere even in ERs .... In India , you have to be a VIP to be treated well in a Hospital ....
Yes the Govt needs to do more in lessening the wait times which can get frustrating but the system is dependable as it stands today .....
Like I said , try to be in the US without a job / insurance and you will worship Canadian medical system .....
