If you are on a good wicket in DXB you might want to re consider your decision.
Do your homework on jobs in your profession and what options you have if you can't find one.
The situation in North America is not getting better any time soon. You should visit the place and see for yourself before quitting.

thanks for your reply....any idea about the finance/accounts job scenario in Canada...especially after the Canadian Immigration has limited the applications in this segment....

They have not limited the number of applications but stopped accepting them.
Accounting attracts a lot of Asian students in Canada.

Aggressive advertising by the different accounting bodies trying to compete with each other for new students does not help either.

The job market for accounting professionals with 3-5 years of experience is ok, but brutal for entry-level and newcomers (like any other field).

I would suggest you to settle down in Canada.Canada is a beautiful place to live.I stayed at the Vancouver city of Canada for 5 years.And those years was memorable of my life.

How can you settle in Dubai?
You may stay temporarily in Dubai,but yo can not settle .

Why can't ?

When you are employed, you have residency permit.
When your spouse alone is employed, the rest of the family can stay in residency permit again as Dependent.
If buy an apartment, you again get residency permit.
You could get 1 year visa for your parents (costs you more...what the heck if you have money).
