When you are only comparing the school education, compare apples with apples. Compare the Govt. school education of Canada (which is known as public schools) with the Govt. schools of India. If you want to compare the private schools of India, compare them with the private schools of Canada. Do you have any idea of Govt. schools standard in India?

How do you define a standard in education?
Overall govt school teachers are more educated than private schools in India.

What I see that students in India (Be in private or govt) are more logically skilled. You can put them in any part of the world and they have more brain power and learn things fast. That is one of the main reasons of Asian students excel here (in schools or univ.)

Don't be too picky

School students in India knows too much ( academically) because parents are after them, tutors are after them and social system is after them .... (of course making their childhood more miserable than required).

Stick to Dubai, unless u have a 100% chance of getting a job...
If u still decide to come here basically it will be a big struggle to get a job, u will run out of funds, u will also be frustrated... is it worth it.

Venrasq is RIGHT. If you are a good IT professional or having experience in different financial services / insurance industry .... the struggle may not be too much and soon you find a good job. Also you will be fine if you are in a profession that requires license to work/practice in Canada and you have enough patience, knowledge and resources to get a license in Canada.

If not ..... you will have it.:D

Dubai is not forever. The minute u lose ur job, u lose ur visa. Keeping that in mind, there is always a sense of insecurity. In comparison except for the insecurity part and the fact that u cant stay there permanently, if you are having a good job and a comfortable lifestyle its any day better than Canada in some respects if u r willing to relocate with your kids to your country of origin once Dubai throws u out! Atleast till then u will have made the money even if u slog it out there, enjoy a tax free salary, lavish vacations and retire with a good bank balance ;) What more is needed :)

DMGM,
Very good observation.
However , even if Dubai is not there, you have qatar,Kuwait, bahrain all with a lot of Warm body (Human resources) requirement.
But the best bet is always Canada, where even if you donot have a job, they will not throw your out. Your children willl have access to school (free) ,free healthcare, free breakfast in schools. For the parents, free welfare, free food stamps etc..Though you will have to pay rent from your own pocket, you can stay here for life unless you make a decision to buy a flight ticket (with your own money)to fly out of the blessed land to a cursed land !!!

Peace
