hehe.. thanks everyone for yr replies! It takes that long for a birth certificate huh? That will make travelling for us really tough in that case.
I will think about getting his S.I.N later then as I don't think an RESP is really that necessary asap.

Yes, he is a handful truly but worth it. , I guess all babies are . When they grow up then parents will find out woh kitney paani mei hain . As for help in the first days, I have opened a thread in general so that other women and new parents can benefit from it.
