Be careful of Homestays. Since you have put your ph. no and e-mail address, people might try to scam you.
Why donot you ask TCS for arranging it or the company that you will be reporting to or your collegues in that company?
Though I am in India, let me see a map of the place and advise you.
Peace

Just looked it up. The nearest TTC (Toronto Bus) busstop would be at Warden and Steels. It is a chinese dominated area and there are bound to be chinese owned guest houses nearby. A lot of hotels are also in the Warden and Steels area.
What you should do it, get down at the airport and take a TTC bus to Kipling railway station ($ 3 charge). Then take the subway to Warden station (No fare is required.Use the bus ticket). At Kipling station, take a Transfer- free (ask some one for the location which is always near entrance). Then at Warden station take a TTC bus to Steels Ave. (last stop). From there you can walk to your hotel / chinese accomodation.
Other seniors will be able to guide you better / add on to it.
Please use Google to find hotels / home stays.
Kijiji(dot)com is a good source aside from Canadian desi classifieds.

No disrespect but it was only a suggestion. They are free to use the cab from the Airport, if they like and it will not cost them more than $ 70 anyways. As they as business travellers, they are unlikely to have much luggage.
These days IT people in India are paid less due to saturation and hence I am assuming that they would like to save as much as possible. More often, these deputations are taken by employees as it will add weight to their resumes and the pleasure of free international travel more than anything else.
As told to them, they have to google/ use Kijiji to zero on accomodations.
yesterday's Toronto star's article which highlighted 13 people using a six bedroom bungalow with 2 toilets and 1 kitchen (each $ 350) may be of a warning to potential short term visitors/ students / immigrants on how people can be exploited in Canada, which is a land of milk and honey as envisaged by some.
