I was wondering if anybody has option of lifetime updates of GPS maps and can help me out for updating IT.

I can copy 2012 maps on SD card/CD/DVD and use it on my GPS as I have pretty old GPS and need map update on it.

Never mind, I got the 2012 updates for free. Its very easy.
