Hello,

Ihave landed in canada in 2004 and was out after staying for a month
my Pr card expires in 2009.
I have 2 kids born after getting the pr card. how can i proceed to Canada for good as i wish to settle in Canada .

Will i have issues at the airport in canada.
Can i submit my application for renewal of my pr card . what about my kids visa how do i go about. please help

If you stayed outside of Canada for 3 years (1095 days) - which I guess you have - then you could face issues at the cdn Port of Entry.

You cannot renew (or apply for its renewal) from outside of Canada. Apply for your kids' visa does not require any special thing - just a normal/usual application.

U can expect a royal welcome at the Port of entry

I would suggest u fly to US and take a greyhond across from detroit.. they usually dont scan at windsor border crossing and u will save urself lot of trouble.. Fly with minimal luggage to make it look like a weekend trip..



If i do decide to fly to canada ..Firstly enter on a 1 way ticket not a round trip.. U could get deported right away.

U will be asked how long u have been away.

U have 2 choices..Both answers u will be allowed to enter but will have different results.

1> Tell the truth.

U will be allowed to enter
A loss of residency proceeding will be initiated against u..

At a later date u will be asked to appear before immigration judge..

Ur best resort is to find good job and make a strong case by presenting good reasons for leaving and loss to canada if u are deported..



2> Tell lies and mention a small duration of may be less than 6 months..

The immigration dept might have outbound flight records.. so this may be hard to prove.. but u can try and make up a story..
If ur story works u will be allowed to enter no problems..
