get a coverter, just in case. they are quite cheap. I know a place in Mississauga which sells very cheap ones and they worked perfectly well for me when I was in India

Just a tip - Walmart Canada has an Anniversary sale from Sept 12 - 20 and selling BlackBerry PlayBook Tablet 32GB for $118. You can even do a price match with futureshop or best if they are selling for higher price.

You can get voltage step-down adapter if you want. Just get an appropriate one for the purpose and watch out that it does not get very hot.
All chargers say what input voltage and frequency they will accept, sometimes print is very small.

I was at the Walmart at Scarborough Town Centre at around 10 AM and all the Play Books were gone. The CSR told me that they got total 6 tablets while other Walmart may have gotten only 4 each.
However, I ended up buying the other tablet which was an Android tablet for $79. Though the same is 4GB but can be expended to 32GB with Micro SD card. I think it is a good buy.

If anyone seriously looking for BB playbook i wouldn't go to walmart. I will either go to FS or Best Buy with price match.
