I worked for a staffing agency in Calgary this last year. After two months, and I was doing a good job, I made a comment about how lazy a person was, as she wouldn't even drop off our paystubs (so we could get paid). After that, I was removed from my temp position, she was being a baby about it (vindictive). They just don't seem to give a shit about people or to care if they fuck them around at IS2, not very professional for sure. But hey, they're already skimming copious amounts off the top of your paycheck, not on the up and up for sure. When it came time to send T4's I contacted them numerous times, at the issuing office in Delta BC, the asian guy and next time the gay guy; still didn't get my address right, as I haven't received my T4 (it's now March 24, way past deadline), now they can deal with the CRA; avoid working with the peons.

There's a thing called 'being Diplomatic'. I guess, straight talk, though you might find it as your best trait, doesn't always work when dealing with other people whom you don't always know inside out.
Better to be diplomatic than fired. It's not a question of ego, self-respect, etc. Sending your point/message across without hurting or offending other people should be the key in professional settings/situations. Patience should be the key my dear friend.
