Need Help - While installing Satellite TV Bell Technician Damaged the Roof

sorry to OP for lost, Please make sure repair roof as earliest because rainy season is going to start very soon and if you do not repair your roof on time and going to wait to hear from Bell than may you end up with more mesh in house.
But guys, after reading all replies from members........ROTFL...

Frankly speaking, when I bought this house 18-20 months back, the roof was new and I have home inspectors report. will this help me in any way?
I am shocked and surprised at the injustice done in Canada by law. Initially when we came, the condo management went against the residents and took courts permission to install new windows and we had to pay $1600 for the new windows. My husband told me not to pay since they went against residents and he felt, they will go against us again and again and waste our money. I went against him and paid since I didnt want lawyers fees and lein on condo. In due course of time, I realised the injustice done by them since, there are thousands of building whose windows are in 100 times worse conditions and Government or law is not doing anything to them coz they are rental apartments and not owned like ours.
Law should be same to one and all. I think Government should take initiative and change windows of all the old buildings. (i.e to save energy). There are buildings which are so old that, they should be demolished since their maintenance is very high. In UAE, building is demolished in 20 yrs and new building is built though the conditions of the building were far better than conditions of the building here. Just a thought from my side.
Can we go ahead and repair the roof and later on go to consumer court? Basically I have written this post, to tell the injustive done by big companies like bell etc to the commoners since they have more powers. Their technician are insured and they will not pay from their pocket. Insurance companies wl pay for the damages. I want each and everyone of you careful with the damages caused like this and I feel we should fight for our rights instead of quietly suffering.

bell tv has all garbage channels and instead of bell i would prefer rogers, no satellite hassles..ur husband was right and u went against ur husband just o give him a hard time. Bell follows all unethical practices

I called Rogers and they told me they will hv to drill 4-5 holes so, I went to Bell since their connections were already there, I thought they wl not drill holes. Please dont judge harshly without knowing facts. He is my husband and I love him but I shall not do anything to keep him happy just to satisfy his ego. I hv to follow the law and use my judgement to the best of my ability. Just a thought from my side.

Actually I called Rogers first and they told me they will have to drill 4-5 holes and he suggested that, I should go to Bell since their connections are already installed and there wl be no drilling to be done. That is why I installed bell connections. Later on, we were irritated with their wrong billings and hours after hours wasted on phone to rectify the bills. It is stressful. We discontinued with their services after 18 months. Then They had Fibe TV promotional offers and my husband friend who is working with bell called me and I took the offer.
I am surprised why he had to drill hole again when there was already dish and conenctions? BTW... I wrote to kevin and I received reply from Vice President that, their executive will get in touch within 24 hours.

It is okay .. do not fight over this with your hubby . Tell him that u can understand his anger over the loss to the house ... but make him understand that it is not really your fault. It can always happen to anyone.
Coming to suing Bell ... it will be a long process but you do not have to leave it go. As suggested by Bhootnath, take pictures before you do any thing, have some correspondence with bell, build up the file ( if bells makes a mistake in their correspondence, that would be to your advantage) ... and then finally you will be ready to file in consumer court/small claims court.
After writing letter to president, I recd email that, they wil get in touch within 24 hours. Yesterday morning, I received call and I explained everything and they were very sympathetic about mental torture part. They wl get back to me on their decision by wednesday. I am sure and positive. rest you know. cheers !
