I do not agree. I can bring endless number of instances of Rogers poor service. Banks are generally the best...why...how many type of complicated product models they offer? You call PC mastercard...a charge is wrong...what they wil say...ok sir we are reversing it pending investigation...you are happy. Rogers have more billing problem. BTW Roger and Bell are using same billing provider.
In India, Bell only has technical support and collection agents. Bell do not outsource selling. Few months ago somone published on this Forum ..."Bell TV is hiring CSR for $13.75....you are aware of response that guy got on this forum.... who would have joined --- it is people from North, East,West and Southern Indians. They are selling to you.

Desi is TOTALLY wrong. As someone who worked for Bell, and someone who has used their services for over 8 years, I know how it works..... there are salespersons who are based in India. I still have people calling me from India to offer me Bell's DSL internet service, not knowing that I am already a customer......... you may ask, how do I know the person called me from India A) He said he called from New Delhi and B) I know that Bell has outsourced some of the sales services to a few firms in India.
THIS IS NOT ABOUT SOMEONE FROM NORTH INDIA. Basically Bell's sales persons keep calling even existing services to offer their services (because they know little about the customers here). There is nothing UNPATRIOTIC about complaining, if the caller is from (north) India.
I also want to correct DESI. Bell does NOT have "collection agents". When the bill is overdue for a specific time, the job of collecting the money is left to third party companies. The other thing I don't understand is what DESI means by
"BTW Roger and Bell are using same billing provider". The CSR's in BELL & ROGERS take care of billing......... there are "NO billing providers"

To equate poor service just because the CSR had strong north indian accent seems rediculous to me .
There are too many immigrants coming in everyyear and for survival pick up jobs like this so the likelihood that Bell has moved to India may not be true and if they did most of Call centre are in the south (bengaluru) so the accent should be south indian not north indian .
Lets focus on just the poor service from bell rather than implying thatjust because CSR is from a particular country or region will provide poor service.
I ve had the worst CSR experience with ScotiaBank in their " Canadian accent "....
I have switched over to Bell from Rogers and have found their Tech Support to be inferior to Rogers ... 2 counts ............. CSR though Indian were able to attend comfortably and forwarded my complaints ...... at one instance , I complained via email & chat options since my home phone was dead ........ the complaint was dealt with in 24 hrs and I am satisfied .
I feel that Roger is over charging and providing inferior services and hence slightly inferior Bell CSR / Tech Support can be lived with if they provide services at a lower cost .... which is the purpose of out sourcing .
BTW their 3 months free internet is a hit .... I love their wireless modem cum router.

The reason being that when ever I had called (before 45 days), I always speak to a Canadian born / educated person and get proper answers / service to all my queries. But now, I find that all the calls that I make to Bell canada is being answers by a typical north Indian accent .

I also signed up with bell recently.I was told that for 1st few days (i think 45 days) the calls goes to Canadian CSR and after that it goes to India.
