It is an absolutely amazing show! There is a vegetarian option - which is ok. The kids will love it - though your 5yr old may be a bit too young to fully appreciate it.

My son is a history buff - and he was so thrilled. Go early - there is a lot to see and take pics. You can order wine. The servers address you as royalty and call themselves your wenches. There is a short story - duel and all.

As regards upgrade of seats - there is not much difference actually in the view and all - since it is a pretty small space. Go by your budget and excitement of the kids. Though the adults will enjoy it as much - if not more. Even the seating is very tight - with difficulty in where to keep one's bag/ winter clothes.

It is an experience. The ambience. It's good. Definitely a must do!!! Enjoy!

I agree , it is quite an experience. wonderful show, they literally take you to the medieval times and place you there , while you eat and enjoy the show as if personally invited by the king.
