Where can you buy good quality king fish in GTA? I see sometimes frozen pomfret in T&T and I am unsure how good it tastes. Also how difficult is it to clean. I am assuming it doesn't come cleaned out.

Oceans supermarket. Not on a weekend.. Why ?
The best thing about King fish is able to get a thin slice. On a weekend, they end up speeding up a lot.
Go on a weekday, they will cut it, clean it and make thin slice as I get.
Off late, I am limiting mostly to the Haddock from Costco though. Its been working pretty easy for us, switching to king fish when guests are in.

Are you new to Canada?
Walk into any chinese store and you will find fresh fish being sold in a separate Fish sections ! Fish is cleaned and cut by the Chinese stores themselves (cleaning price incl. in the cost of the fish).
However on weekends, they will be quite busy and you might have to do slight recleaning at home by yourself.

I am a Gents and not a Ladies.
Most Chinese ethnic stores & West Indian ( Not Indian or Paki stores ) have fresh fish.
Chinese stores even have live fish kept in tanks.
The regular Canadian stores usually have frozen fish , and very little fresh fish.

Google them for locations ..are some of the stores that I know off hand which should have the Fresh King fish you am looking for.
